She holds a double degree in Medicine and Psychology (Bucharest, Romania), MA in Marketing (London, UK), a certification as an Integrative Health Coach, from Duke University (NC, USA) and a certification in Nutrition Science from Stanford University (California, USA).
Anca Mizumschi Simion writes in Romanian and English, and has published 11 books: poetry, articles and essays. Her main areas of interest are covering the concepts of collective trauma, transgenerational trauma, immigration and identity. Her poems are translated in: Swedish, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Hungarian, Albanese, Czech language, and Chinese.
As a psychologist and social activist, she is a passionate advocate for trauma healing -individual and collective- using expressive arts, storytelling and therapeutic writing and she uses all these methods in her daily practice.
